Hello, thanks for joining me here on the Bite Wales blog by me - Fromagegirl.
It’s likely that you’re reading this because you’re a bit of a foodie. That’s great - I love to meet other foodies like myself and hear about their culinary adventures.
If you haven’t already guessed it, I’m a bit of a cheese nerd - not to be confused with a cheese ‘geek’: they tend to be more technically-minded than I am.For years I had been imagining the idea of starting up my own foodie business, surrounded by cheese of course! Until then I had been doing pop-up events and presentations about wine, cheese and luxury foods. In 2016, an opportunity opened up to actually make it a reality. I knew if I didn’t start then I wouldn’t get the same chance again. Bite Wales is the result.
Now Bite Wales has its own range of wicked hampers and cheese wedding towers. The plan is to open up a delicatessen full of amazing cheese and gourmet foods just as soon as I can find an ideal premises.

I’m going to post once a week with new recipes, introductions to new cheeses from all over the world, exciting new ways to cook with them, and suggestions for cheese-boards for every occasion.
