Chef David Barratt of Barratt's at Ty'n Rhyl has been making this particular recipe for 20 years (suitable for vegetarians/no suet).
He always uses the best ingredients and pack a lot in to one pudding such as...raisins, sultanas, currants, apricots, cherries, mixed Spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, treacle, ground almonds, vanilla essence, apples, lemons, oranges, carrots and not forgetting a generous helping of Stout and Rum!
We don't add any E numbers or artificial preservatives. Also we don't add Palm Oil to our Christmas pudding, over the last 20 years we've never needed to, which is important as Palm oil has devastating effect on precious rain forest and the animals who live there.
They really are delicious with a generous helping of Rum sauce.
