A concentrated bouquet of morello cherries and black hedgerow fruits with just a hint of spice. The palate is medium bodied with juicy acidity and smooth tannins that emphasise the complexity of this wine.
Made from 100% Sangiovese, fermentation takes place in concrete vats with frequent pump over to ensure maximum extraction and silky tannins. The wine is then aged in the famous italian 'botti' for 12 months before bottling.
